McCarthy Masonry and Concrete Inc is accepting applications for Shop Manager/Mechanic at the Quakertown location: The Shop Manager/Mechanic is responsible for overseeing the daily maintenance of our facilities and equipment, as well as coordinating the installation of new machinery and equipment.
- Specialize in the maintenance, repairs and overall management of the company’s shop, yard, light/heavy duty equipment, company vehicles, small engine shop equipment, deisel engines, and personnel.
- Must be highly motivated, organized, and able to take/give directions and/or work independently.
- Be mechanically inclined to work on construction equipment, tools, and fleet vehicles.
- May work off-site at job locations at times.
- Should have excellent verbal/written communication skills, computer literate, able to communicate with vendors, and responsible for handling related purchases and computer transactions.
- Class A CDL a plus
- Other job tasks as assigned
