Job Purpose
To monitor and execute the entire loom running process within the defined standard of quantity, quality, time, cost, safety, and sustainability.
Job Context & Major Challenges
- Workmen training is very important, for new products, procedures, and creating a sustainability culture.
- There is a lot of variation in the efficiency of different looms, especially for linen. The variation may vary from 20% to 80%.
- Any defects/process inefficiencies in spinning will result in the same in weaving.
- Lot to Lot variation is very high in flax raw material.

KRA1 Productivity
- Proactive manpower planning and engagement.
- Proper Machine and production balancing in all the processes to achieve the targeted productivity for each shift
KRA2 Quality
- Ensure desired quality of the product in each stage of processing in the shift
- Adherence to SOP s in each stage of the process.
KRA3 Cost
- To maintain desired level of cost of production
- Waste Control measures related to process and product.
- Controlling manpower cost through planning
- Controlling energy through energy saving projects and implementing Kaizens.
KRA4 Delivery
- Ensuring timely charge takeover and handover, along with internal customer and supplier orientation to ensure 100% OTIF delivery.
KRA5 WCM
- Building a culture of system improvement among workmen by promoting innovations
- Maintaining the required housekeeping through 5S
KRA6 Safety and Sustainability
- Ensure all process happens within the defined safety & sustainability norms
