Nahanni Steel Products Inc is looking for a Lead Hand Set-Up Operator to set-up our presses better than ever!
We are a LOUD and bustling manufacturing plant, where materials, parts and people are constantly on the move. As a Tier-2 automotive part supplier, we need to be a reliable partner for our customers, and we are looking for someone who has that same kind of integrity to be reliable for the day-to-day operations.
We need someone who has experience in the following:
· Operating 60T – 800T stamping presses with progressive dies
· Ability to operate Uncoiler, Feeder
· Knowledgeable of PLC Controls
· Able to troubleshoot mechanical problems on presses
· Ability to lift upwards of 25lbs
· Counterbalance Lift Truck experience (3+ years)
· Overhead Crane experience (3+ years)
· Press set-up experience (3+ years)
· Supervisory experience
· Scheduling experience (assigning employees to workstations, managing downtime)
· Writing reports legibly and accurately
· Training and team development
· Using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint

Shift: 2:30pm – 11:00pm (straight afternoons)
