Role Description
As a full-time, on-site Service Writer at Cooley Marine, located in Stratford, CT, you will be responsible for serving as the primary point of customer contact regarding services required for their vessels. Your daily tasks will include assisting customers with service inquiries, maintaining accurate service records, preparing and processing work orders, and ensuring a smooth communication flow between customers and the technical team. You will also provide excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction and strengthen relationships.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with a focus on relationship-building and problem resolution
- Strong Phone Etiquette and Communication skills for effective customer interaction
- Basic Computer Literacy and ability to use service-related software and tools
- Organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple service requests efficiently
- Knowledge of the marine industry or marine service processes is a plus
- Previous experience in a service writer or customer-facing role is preferred
