Protyre Autocare is looking for an enthusiastic Service Technician to join our growing team. We are a fast‑growing national automotive company offering superb training and development opportunities.
As a Vehicle Technician you are responsible for providing exceptional vehicle servicing and repairs by using the latest diagnostic technology and techniques to identify vehicle issues.
Must have
- Full current UK Driving Licence (held for at least 6 months, age restrictions may apply – points or offences may affect your application)
- Level 3 Automotive Qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)

About the role
- Ensure the work completed on each vehicle is carried out safely and to a high standard
- Complete fast‑fit tyre fitting, using an alignment machine and interpreting readings for relevant adjustments
- Fit brakes, exhausts, batteries, suspension, and other mechanical products
- Carry out MOT repairs and adhere to company procedures for the vehicle inspection process
- Use relevant diagnostic equipment to ensure diagnostics, testing, and repairs are thorough and of the highest quality
- Advise on other issues that vehicles display, including common problems for certain makes and ages, and provide timelines for future repair needs
- Work in a safe manner and always comply with health & safety regulations
About you
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification related to the automotive industry
- Experience with mechanical and fast‑fit repairs, including tyre fitting, exhausts, brakes, suspension and general servicing of a wide range of vehicles
- The ability to work as part of a busy team in a fast‑paced dynamic environment
- Experience with diagnostic equipment
- Full UK Driving Licence
