Service Advisor – Fourways A leading multi-franchise automotive dealership in the Fourways area is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Service Advisor to join their dynamic aftersales team.
The successful candidate will act as the primary liaison between customers and the workshop, ensuring exceptional customer service while coordinating vehicle repairs and maintenance efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and accurately assess vehicle service and repair requirements.
- Book vehicles into the workshop and prepare job cards.
- Explain service recommendations, repair requirements, and associated costs to customers.
- Maintain regular communication with customers regarding vehicle progress and completion times.
- Liaise effectively with workshop personnel, technicians, and parts departments.
- Obtain customer authorisation for additional repairs where required.
- Ensure all warranty and service documentation is completed accurately.
- Process invoices and ensure all job cards are closed correctly.
- Manage customer queries, complaints, and service-related concerns professionally.
- Promote service campaigns, maintenance plans, and value-added products.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and CSI scores.
- Ensure compliance with dealership procedures and manufacturer standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor within a franchised automotive dealership.
- Strong understanding of automotive service processes and workshop operations.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Computer literacy and experience with dealership management systems.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong administration and organisational skills.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Grade 12 / Matric qualification.
