Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility handles high-volume daily dispatches involving finished goods, bulk tankers and multiple truck movements across India. As we continue to expand, we are seeking an outstanding logistics professional to lead our warehouse, dispatch and transportation operations.
The Role
The Senior Manager – Logistics & Dispatch will be responsible for the complete outbound logistics function, ensuring every customer receives the right product, in the right quantity, at the right time and at the optimum cost.
This is a leadership position requiring excellent planning ability, operational discipline, strong people management skills and a passion for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all warehouse, dispatch and transportation operations.
Manage high-volume daily dispatches to OEMs, distributors and institutional customers across India.
Plan and coordinate bulk tanker movements.
Ensure world-class warehouse discipline, inventory accuracy and material handling practices.
Drive OTIF (On Time In Full) delivery performance across all customer segments.
Manage transporters, freight partners and logistics service providers.
Negotiate freight contracts and develop long-term transporter partnerships.
Optimise freight costs while maintaining exceptional customer service.
Improve warehouse productivity, vehicle turnaround time and loading efficiency.
Implement and continuously improve WMS, barcode, QR code and digital logistics systems.
Monitor logistics KPIs including OTIF, freight cost, warehouse productivity, inventory accuracy, vehicle utilisation and dispatch turnaround time.
Work closely with Production, Planning, Procurement, Sales, Customer Service and Finance to ensure seamless order fulfilment.
Lead, train and develop warehouse supervisors, logistics executives and dispatch personnel.
Ensure compliance with all statutory, safety and transportation regulations.
Ideal Candidate
Graduate Engineer or MBA in Supply Chain, Logistics or Operations Management.
Minimum 12–15 years of progressive experience in logistics and warehouse management within a large manufacturing organisation.
Proven experience managing high-volume dispatch operations across multiple customer locations.
Strong understanding of warehouse operations, transportation management, inventory control and dispatch planning.
Hands-on experience with ERP platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP or Oracle.
Experience implementing WMS and digital warehouse solutions will be an advantage.
Demonstrated success in reducing logistics costs while improving customer service levels.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing large warehouse and logistics teams.
Excellent analytical, planning and communication skills.
