United Brakes & Clutch Corp. is looking for an experienced Heavy Truck & Trailer Mechanic to join our team. We service a wide variety of commercial vehicles, including semi trucks, trailers, RVs, motorhomes, vacuum trucks, fire trucks, and other heavy-duty equipment. We are looking for a dependable technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and can work independently as well as with a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance (PM services) on trucks, trailers, and commercial vehicles
- Diagnose and repair engines
- Remove and install clutches
- Diagnose and repair manual and automatic transmissions
- Perform brake system repairs on trucks and trailers
- Replace tires on trucks and trailers
- Diagnose and repair suspension and steering components
- Repair air brake systems and air leaks
- Perform electrical diagnostics and repairs
- Repair cooling systems and driveline components
- Inspect vehicles and recommend needed repairs
- Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience repairing heavy trucks and trailers preferred
- Experience working on semi trucks, trailers, RVs, motorhomes, vacuum trucks, or similar commercial vehicles
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to perform repairs with minimal supervision
- Valid driver’s license required
- CDL is a plus, but not required
- Welding and fabrication experience is a plus

Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour

- TRUCK AND TRAILER REPAIRING: 3 years (Preferred)
