Role Description The Sales Manager role at Sentracor is a full-time, on-site position based in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. The Sales Manager will oversee daily sales activities, lead and support the sales team, and ensure targets are met through effective planning and execution. Responsibilities include managing the showroom, guiding customers through the buying process, developing sales strategies, and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients. The role involves monitoring performance metrics, preparing sales reports, coordinating with marketing and operations teams, and ensuring a consistently high standard of customer service. The Sales Manager will also contribute to continuous improvement by identifying market opportunities and recommending enhancements to sales processes.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in automotive or retail sales management, including team leadership and performance coaching.
- Strong skills in customer relationship management, negotiation, and closing sales in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to develop and implement sales strategies, analyze sales data, and prepare clear, actionable reports.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with a focus on transparent and ethical sales practices.
- Solid organizational and time-management abilities, including pipeline management and prioritization of multiple tasks.
- Comfort with digital tools and CRM systems; familiarity with online sales or lead-generation platforms is an advantage.
- Relevant qualification in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Knowledge of the local automotive market in KwaZulu-Natal and valid authorization to work in South Africa; a valid driver’s license is highly beneficial.
