A Tier 1 automotive interiors supplier is hiring a Sales Director to lead its North American commercial function. Reporting into the global sales leadership team, this role owns the OEM account book across the region and carries the mandate to drive new business growth.
The Role
- Lead the North American sales team and Customer Business Unit
- Own commercial relationships with major OEM accounts
- Drive new business capture across Detroit 3 and EV programmes
- Manage quoting, cost calculation, and contract negotiation on new work
- Handle change management from RFQ through series production
- Lead and develop a team of KAMs, technical sales, and cost estimating
What We're Looking For
- Established automotive sales leader based in North America
- Proven OEM account management and new business track record at Tier 1
- Hunter mentality — new business wins are the primary measure of success
- Comfortable operating within a global matrix with European reporting lines
- On-site in Metro Detroit
