About the Role
Our client, a leading company in the automotive sector, is seeking an experienced and strategic Sales Director to lead and scale its car retail and leasing operations in Mexico City. This is a senior leadership role for a results-driven professional with a strong commercial mindset, proven leadership capability, and a track record of driving significant revenue growth.
You will be responsible for defining the sales strategy, building high-performing teams, and expanding market presence while delivering strong business results.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the overall sales strategy for retail and leasing operations
- Drive revenue growth by expanding into new markets and strengthening key client relationships
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing sales organization
- Recruit top sales talent in partnership with internal teams
- Establish performance metrics, monitor KPIs, and ensure consistent achievement of targets
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to guide strategic decisions
- Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership, marketing, and operations teams
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in automotive sales, leasing, or related industries
- Proven success in a senior leadership or director-level role
- Strong leadership, team-building, and organizational development skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities
- Highly results-driven with a hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset
Preferred Background
Experience in automotive leasing, fleet management, or car retail, ideally with companies such as Element Fleet Management, TIP México, Volkswagen Financial Services, Engen Capital, FirmaCar Leasing, or similar.
