Our client, a fast-growing company in the electric mobility sector, is seeking a commercially driven Sales & Business Development Director to lead market expansion and accelerate business growth in Vietnam.
This is a senior leadership role for an experienced professional with a strong background in sales, channel development, strategic partnerships, and commercial operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in building a scalable go-to-market model, expanding strategic networks, and driving sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial & Sales Leadership
- Develop and execute the company's sales and market expansion strategy.
- Drive revenue growth, market penetration, and customer acquisition.
- Build and strengthen distributor, dealer, and partner networks.
- Monitor business performance and implement actions to improve commercial results.
- Support city-by-city expansion initiatives across Vietnam.
Business Development & Strategic Partnerships
- Identify and develop strategic partnerships across mobility, transportation, logistics, fleet, and related industries.
- Explore and establish new business opportunities to support long-term growth.
- Lead commercial discussions and negotiate mutually beneficial partnership models.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
Market Development & Stakeholder Engagement
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders.
- Support market expansion and infrastructure development initiatives.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to align commercial and operational objectives.
Team Leadership
- Lead and develop a high-performing commercial team.
- Foster a results-oriented and collaborative working culture.
- Coach and mentor team members to strengthen commercial capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Operations, or a related discipline. MBA is an advantage.
- 8-15 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Channel Development, Strategic Partnerships, or Commercial Management.
- Proven track record in building and expanding partner networks or sales channels.
- Experience in EV, mobility, automotive (highly preferred), energy, infrastructure, transportation, logistics, consumer products, or other high-growth industries is highly preferred.
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and evolving business environment.
- Fluent in English.
