Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Sales Advisor role based in Lerwick. The role involves providing outstanding customer service, identifying and addressing customer needs, assisting with product selection, and maintaining relationships with existing clients. Additional responsibilities include stocking and organising products in the shop, processing sales transactions
and providing input to help promote the company’s wide range of products, including marine safety equipment, chandlery, and industrial supplies.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of marine safety equipment, chandlery, and industrial supplies
- Proficiency in sales, processing transactions, and providing quotations
- Organisational skills and the ability to manage and maintain stock and inventory
- Problem-solving skills to address customer concerns and needs effectively
- Flexibility to work in a what can be a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Previous sales or retail experience is an advantage
- A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work as part of a team
