Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive (New/Used Cars) role based at Sytner BMW in Tring. The Sales Executive will guide customers through the entire sales journey, from initial consultation and test drives to vehicle selection, finance options, and handover. Responsibilities include actively prospecting and following up leads, managing a personal sales pipeline, and achieving agreed sales and customer satisfaction targets. The role involves presenting both new and Approved Used BMW vehicles, preparing accurate quotations and finance proposals, and ensuring all documentation is completed in line with company and regulatory standards. The Sales Executive will also maintain an up-to-date knowledge of BMW models, features, and offers, collaborate closely with colleagues across sales and aftersales, and represent the brand professionally in the showroom and at customer appointments.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive sales or a similar consultative sales environment, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities, with a focus on delivering a high-quality, premium experience.
- Excellent communication, active listening, and presentation skills, both in person and over phone/email.
- Confidence in discussing finance and insurance products, with high levels of integrity and compliance awareness.
- Comfort using CRM systems, digital sales tools, and standard office software to manage leads and customer records.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced showroom environment, organize workload, and manage multiple customers and tasks at once.
- Enthusiasm for the BMW brand and the automotive sector, with a willingness to stay current on product ranges and technology.
- Full, valid UK driving licence and flexibility to work weekends and peak trading hours as required.
- Professional, inclusive approach with a collaborative mindset and readiness to support colleagues across departments.
- Formal sales training or relevant vocational qualifications are beneficial but not essential where strong experience is demonstrated.
