The Job Summary

The Retail Sales Manager is responsible for managing the retail operations, ensuring sales strategies are effectively implemented and sales targets are consistently met; managing a dynamic sales team, coordinating with marketing and inventory departments to optimize sales processes and enhance customer satisfaction; developing and maintaining relationships with dealership networks and external partners, ensuring Stellantis’s retail presence aligns with market demands and corporate objectives.

Retail Sales Operation

  • Actively participate in developing retail strategy working closely with the GM – Retail Sales.
  • Implement sales strategies that address the unique challenges and opportunities within the KSA market, aiming to maximize revenue and market share.
  • Lead a diverse sales team by setting clear goals, providing ongoing training, and conducting performance reviews to foster a high-performance sales culture.
  • Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability for ongoing sales without overstocking, using advanced inventory management systems.
  • Strategically enhance the shopping experience by implementing best practices in customer service, tailored to meet the expectations of diverse customer segments in KSA.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to create and implement promotional campaigns that effectively attract new customers and retain existing ones.
  • Manage the financial aspects of retail operations, including budgeting, cost analysis, and profitability assessments to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Utilize historical data and market analysis to forecast future sales trends and make informed decisions on stock purchasing and marketing strategies.

  • Regularly perform thorough market analyses to identify emerging trends, potential threats, and new opportunities within the automotive retail sector in KSA.
  • Design sales initiatives aimed at targeting specific customer demographics or regions, increasing market penetration and brand awareness.
  • Ensure that the sales team is aligned with corporate goals and fully informed about their roles and responsibilities in achieving these targets.
  • Develop incentive schemes that motivate sales staff to achieve and exceed their targets, fostering a competitive yet collaborative sales environment.
  • Identify and develop new sales channels to expand market reach and increase sales volumes, including e-commerce platforms and mobile sales applications.

  • Continuously seek opportunities to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve efficiency without compromising service quality.
  • Coordinate with the supply chain department to ensure timely delivery of vehicles and parts, minimizing delays and optimizing sales potential.
  • Manage resource allocation effectively to ensure that all aspects of the sales operation are adequately supported and capable of meeting business demands.
  • Spearhead the integration of new technologies that facilitate more efficient operations and better data management within the retail environment.

  • Deploy advanced analytics tools to systematically assess sales data, identifying trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in sales performance.
  • Establish specific, measurable performance benchmarks based on historical sales data and industry standards, allowing for clear performance evaluations and targeted improvements.
  • Analyse current sales processes to identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies and implement process improvements that enhance the sales cycle and increase overall sales efficiency.
  • Coordinate with product teams to develop training focused on deep product knowledge and effective sales techniques specific to key products, ensuring sales staff can confidently discuss and promote each product.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.

Professional Certifications

Certified Professional in Retail Management (CPRM) preferred

Experience

Minimum 8 years of experience in automotive retail management

Fluency in English & Arabic languages
