Our client is a global Tier 1 in the manufacturing industry and is looking for a Regional Director of Operations".
Location is flexible in Europe with hybrid option.
Main responsabilities:
- Oversee all manufacturing or dealership operations to ensure products and services meet quality, cost, and scheduling objectives.
- Develop and implement regional strategies aligned with corporate goals to drive growth, optimize processes, and improve performance.
- Manage and monitor department or site managers to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational procedures
- Control budgets, analyze financial performance, and ensure targets for profitability are achieved.
- Lead hiring, training, and development of staff; foster a culture of teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Liaise between regional sites and senior leadership, facilitating effective communication of key policies and decisions.
- Implement programs for process improvement, cost reduction, and digital transformation across the region.
- Direct major projects such as layout changes, capital equipment installations, and operational enhancements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, engineering, or relevant field.
- Proven experience in operations or general management, ideally in automotive sectors.
- Strong leadership, strategic execution, and P&L management capabilities.
- Operational expertise across multi-site environments, with a hands-on mindset.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Data-driven decision making and strong analytical abilities.
- Commitment to safety, compliance, and sustainability
- Willingness to travel regularly within the region.
