Our client is a global solutions provider specializing in equipment and automation technologies that enhance operational efficiency across industrial and commercial environments. They are currently seeking to hire a Regional Business Development Manager for their Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) business.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prioritize, and win new automation and robotics projects across strategic accounts
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive pipeline growth, pilots, and new business opportunities
- Lead negotiations and close deals to achieve revenue and margin targets
- Own sales performance, including pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and quarterly/annual results
- Build strong customer relationships and expand market share within key verticals
- Collaborate closely with country leaders, core sales, and internal teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Drive geographic expansion by identifying new markets and developing go-to-market strategies
- Partner with marketing on demand generation activities (events, campaigns, exhibitions)
- Strengthen AMR sales capabilities, including objection handling, territory planning, and closing skills
Requirements
- Strong experience in B2B sales, preferably in automation, robotics, or industrial solutions
- Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and strategic accounts
- Experience in robotics, warehouse automation, AGV/AMR, or industrial automation is highly desirable
- Experience in managing multiple distributors within SEA
- Previous experience in developing vertical markets (F&B, Automotive, Logistics, Heavy Industries) and key accounts
- Demonstrated capacity to control expenses and meet profit goals.
- Proven ability to handle cross-cultural situations.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across regional teams
- Willingness to travel extensively across SEA, Korea and Japan (50–60%)
