Title: Refinery and Fleet Maintenance Technician (This is not a truck mechanic position.)

Job Description:
Fleet Maintenance
This position includes performing light fleet maintenance on company trucks. The role focuses on preventative maintenance and ensuring our fleet remains clean, safe, and ready for daily operation.
Examples of duties include:
- Checking and maintaining engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid, and other fluid levels
- Maintaining vacuum pump fluid levels
- Lubricating vehicle and equipment components
- Checking and maintaining tire pressure
- Inspecting and replacing vehicle lights as needed
- Washing company trucks and cleaning vehicle cabs
- Maintaining vehicle insurance cards and registration documents
Refinery
This position also assists with refinery operations. Training will be provided on refinery equipment and vacuum systems.
Examples of duties include:
- Using and maintaining vacuum pumps and vacuum system components
- Moving liquids throughout the refinery using company equipment
- Using and maintaining small power tools and equipment
- Assisting with general refinery maintenance
- Organizing tools and supplies in the warehouse
- Maintaining tool checkout/check-in procedures
Preferred Skills
- General mechanical aptitude
- Forklift certification
- Welding experience
- Plumbing experience
- Experience with light fleet maintenance
- Experience with vacuum systems
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
Required
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation
- DOT Medical Card required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Pleasant disposition and ability to work well with others
Schedule
- Estimated shifts are from 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Must be available to work Sunday through Thursday
Salary: $18-$25 per hour, commensurate with experience.
