Casa Grande, AZ (Local candidates only – no relocation) | Full-Time
MS Companies is hiring a hands-on Quality Manager to lead Inspection & Containment operations in a high-volume automotive OEM environment. This role oversees 50+ associates, drives rapid response to quality issues, and ensures zero-defect escapes to the customer.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead containment, inspection, sorting, and rework operations
- Manage daily performance of a 50+ person team across shifts
- Drive root cause analysis (8D, 5 Why) and corrective actions
- Monitor KPIs (PPM, scrap, rework hours, escape rates)
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 standards
- Act as primary contact for customer quality issues
- Partner with Production, Engineering, and Supplier Quality
- Lead continuous improvement (Kaizen, 5S, layered audits)
What We’re Looking For:
- 5–10+ years automotive quality experience (OEM/Tier 1)
- 3–5+ years leading teams of 20–50+ employees
- Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 & AIAG Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA)
- Experience in containment, inspection, and rework operations
- Data-driven mindset (Excel, Minitab, etc.)
- Strong floor presence in fast-paced manufacturing
Preferred:
- Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) or ASQ Certification (CQE/CQM)
- Lean / Kaizen experience
- Multi-shift or union environment experience
- OEM system familiarity (GM, Ford, Stellantis, Toyota)
