Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for establishing, maintaining, and continuously improving the IATF 16949 quality management system for Thailand plant.
- Plan and drive internal audits, management reviews, and process audits.
- Lead preparation for external audits, support audit execution, and ensure timely closure of findings from certification bodies and OEM customers.
- Maintain, control, and continuously improve quality system documentation (quality manual, procedures, and work instructions).
- Ensure effective implementation of the quality system on the shop floor to avoid gaps between documented processes and actual practices.
- Conduct training on quality systems to enhance quality awareness across all departments.
- Analyze system non-conformities, drive root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Support plant management in meeting system requirements for new customers and new projects.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related quality field.
- At least 3 years of experience as Quality Manager.
- Strong knowledge and ability to independently manage IATF 16949 requirements.
- Proficient in automotive core tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA (PFMEA), Control Plan, MSA, and SPC.
- Familiar with external audit bodies (e.g., TÜV, SGS, BV, etc.).
- Experience working with OEM customers.
- Hands-on experience with OEMs in Thailand or Southeast Asia (Japanese, European, or American OEMs).
- Experience handling OEM audits (e.g., Toyota, Honda, Nissan, GM, Ford, etc.).
- Knowledge of OEM Customer Specific Requirements (CSR), such as Toyota CSR, GM BIQS, Ford Q1, and CQI standards.
- Able to independently prepare for and manage system/process audits by OEMs.
