What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
- Must havepurchasingexperience indiscrete manufacturingcompanies (Eg.aerospace/heavy equipment/shipbuilding/appliances/medicla devices/machinery/industrial parts/industrial automation/industrial component/semiconductor/automotive/electronics manufacturing)
- Strong, hands-on experience in material purchasing and procurement execution.
- Proven expertise inhandling blanket orders, long-term agreements, and regional sourcing strategies.
- Solid understanding of machining processes and procurement of machined components.
- Ability toread and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Demonstrated ability insupplier negotiation, cost management, and execution of sourcing strategies.
- Strong knowledge of inventory planning concepts, including setting stocking levels based on demand variability and supply risks.
- Experience inexpediting orders, managing supplier relationships, and negotiating payment terms.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment with cross-functional teams.
