Role Description The Purchase & Logistics Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai. The individual in this role will manage purchasing activities, including sourcing genuine and aftermarket auto parts, obtaining quotations, negotiating prices, and preparing purchase orders. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating inbound and outbound logistics, arranging shipments, tracking orders, and ensuring timely delivery to customers and internal stakeholders. The role involves maintaining accurate inventory records, collaborating with suppliers and warehouse teams, and resolving delivery or quality issues. The Purchase & Logistics Executive will also support sales and customer service teams by providing order status updates, optimizing stock levels, and contributing to process improvements across the supply chain.
Qualifications
- Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to interact effectively with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams.
- Demonstrated experience in Logistics Management and Supply Chain Management, including shipping coordination, inventory control, and order tracking.
- Basic to intermediate Sales skills to support quotation preparation, pricing discussions, and customer order fulfillment.
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and proficiency in using ERP systems or inventory management software.
- Good numerical and data entry skills, with the ability to work accurately under time constraints.
- Relevant experience in automotive parts trading, import/export, or a similar industry is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Dubai and collaborate in a multicultural, fast-paced environment.
