## Description
Performs a variety of maintenance and repair work on City vehicles and
equipment.
Frequently required to walk and stand for extended periods of time*
Ability to frequently lift and or move up to 50 lbs.*
May occasionally lift weights up to 100 lbs.*
Ability to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, and operate objects,
tools, and controls*
Ability to reach with arms and hands*
Occasionally will climb, balance, stoop, crouch, kneel and crawl. *
Must have close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral
vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. *
Ability to speak and hear and communicate effectively*

## Examples of Duties
Repairs steering, braking, hydraulic, electrical, lighting, air
conditioning, suspension, and related system components of vehicle and
equipment.
Sweeps, washes, paints, and repairs or replaces components on vehicles
and equipment as directed.
Performs custodial work such as required and assigned.
Assists in setting up and taking down equipment for various programs,
prepares facilities for use.
Must be able to provide own set of tools.
Other duties as assigned.
