We are seeking an experienced Program Manager New Product Development to lead and coordinate end-to-end product development initiatives from concept to launch. The role involves managing cross-functional teams, driving project timelines, ensuring product quality, and aligning business objectives with successful product delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage new product development programs across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Define project scope, timelines, budgets, milestones, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with engineering, product management, operations, quality, procurement, and marketing teams.
- Track project progress and ensure timely delivery of products within scope and budget.
- Identify project risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings and provide regular status updates to leadership.
- Ensure compliance with product quality, regulatory, and business standards.
- Drive continuous improvement in NPD processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Support product launch planning and transition to production or operations teams.
- Maintain project documentation, reports, and performance metrics.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Product Management, or related field.
- Strong understanding of New Product Development (NPD) lifecycle and stage-gate processes.
- Experience managing cross-functional and global teams.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as:
- Microsoft Project
- Jira
- Asana
- Smartsheet
- Strong leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, PgMP, Agile, or Scrum certifications.
- Experience in manufacturing, technology, healthcare, automotive, consumer products, or related industries.
- Familiarity with Agile and hybrid project management methodologies.
