Job Summary:
The Production Supervisor (Outgoing) is responsible for overseeing all outbound production activities, ensuring finished goods are processed, packed, and delivered according to quality standards and production schedules. This role ensures smooth coordination between production, warehouse, and logistics teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily outbound production operations, including packing, labeling, and dispatch preparation.
- Ensure all finished goods meet quality standards before release to warehouse/logistics.
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to meet shipment schedules and delivery deadlines.
- Monitor production output and ensure targets are achieved efficiently.
- Manage manpower planning, shift scheduling, and task allocation.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental policies.
- Investigate and resolve any production or shipment issues (e.g., delays, defects, shortages).
- Maintain accurate records of outgoing products, reports, and documentation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Train and guide operators to follow SOPs and work instructions.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in production or manufacturing supervision.
- Experience in outbound, packing, or logistics coordination is an advantage.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in shifts and under pressure.
