Role Description

This full-time, on-site Production Supervisor role is based in Kulim. The Production Supervisor oversees daily production operations, ensuring output meets quality, safety, and efficiency standards. Responsibilities include organizing and monitoring production schedules, coordinating manpower and resources, and resolving operational issues to maintain smooth workflows. The role also involves guiding and coaching production teams, enforcing safety and compliance procedures, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The supervisor collaborates closely with quality, maintenance, and planning teams to optimize line performance, reduce downtime, and meet delivery targets.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated supervisory skills, including team leadership, performance monitoring, and coaching.
  • Experience with production schedules and production planning to meet output and delivery targets.
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams and frontline staff.
  • Hands-on production management skills, including workflow optimization and problem-solving on the shop floor.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing, preferably in battery, electronics, or related industries.
  • Knowledge of safety, quality, and continuous improvement practices (e.g., 5S, Lean, Kaizen) is beneficial.
  • Ability to interpret basic production data and metrics to drive performance improvements.
  • Degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field is an advantage.
