A growing defense technology company is hiring an Associate Production Planner to help keep production running on schedule as the company scales.

You'll own real planning work from day one, learn the full manufacturing operation, and grow with a team that's building something that matters.

What you'll do

  • Help build and maintain production schedules from demand forecasts, customer orders, inventory, and capacity
  • Monitor work orders and production progress to keep things on schedule
  • Track material shortages and work with the team to keep production moving
  • Create, release, and maintain manufacturing work orders in the ERP system
  • Keep BOMs, routing, and planning data accurate and production-ready
  • Track work order performance: schedule attainment, material consumption, output accuracy
  • Pull together production, inventory, and planning reports that drive decisions

What you'll need

  • 0–2 years in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations (internship or co-op counts)
  • Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas) and the ability to analyze operational data
  • Sharp attention to detail and strong cross-functional communication

Nice to have

  • Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or other regulated industries
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Business Central
  • Knowledge of MRP concepts

Compensation and benefits

Base salary $80,000–$90,000, plus a full benefits package: medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k), life insurance, and paid time off.
