Rapidly growing manufacturer just north of Boston is seeking a progressive, high energy Production Manager to add to their operations team. The qualified candidate will have demonstrated experience utilizing Lean methodologies to successfully manage a production team within a manufacturing environment. Fluent communicator in Spanish is required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding Operational Excellence; ensuring process optimization, waste reduction, as well as safety and quality enhancements within the organization's manufacturing operations
- Maintain materials availability to support optimal inventory levels as well as meeting turn objectives and customer demand
- Ensure supplier locations are producing efficiently and with standard of excellence through training and hands-on process improvement implementation
- Provide reporting on project performance by product category and location, and develop strategies to achieve optimal results
- Facilitate team Kaizen events
- Lead OPEX initiatives, partnering with internal stakeholders to uphold OPEX standards across all operational functions
Qualifications:
- Experience leading production operations within a cost-out project manufacturing environment: knowledge of automotive, machinery and engineered products highly preferred.
- Demonstrated history of instilling change management utilizing lean methodologies and upholding OPEX standards
- Lean/Six Sigma Certification required
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Engineering or Business required.
- Must speak fluent Spanish
