Role Description The Production Engineer role at GD Steel Craft is a full-time, on-site position based in Bavla. The Production Engineer will oversee day-to-day production activities, ensuring that manufacturing operations for infrastructure and engineering products, including cranes and related systems, run efficiently and safely. Responsibilities include planning and scheduling production, optimizing workflows, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and monitoring resource utilization. The role involves implementing and maintaining quality standards, analyzing production data to identify improvements, and supporting troubleshooting of technical issues on the shop floor. The Production Engineer will also assist in process optimization, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with company goals.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Production Engineering, with the ability to manage and optimize manufacturing processes.
- Analytical skills to interpret production data, diagnose issues, and recommend effective solutions.
- Experience in Production Planning, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow coordination.
- Knowledge of Quality Control practices to ensure products meet technical specifications and safety standards.
- Effective Communication skills to collaborate with shop floor teams, management, and external stakeholders.
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
- Familiarity with crane manufacturing, heavy engineering, or infrastructure equipment is an advantage.
- Proficiency with relevant production software, basic CAD tools, and MS Office.
- Ability to work on-site in Bavla, manage time effectively, and adhere to health and safety regulations.
