We are seeking an energetic Product Specialist to join our National Sales & Marketing Department and help drive Mazda Australia’s product strategy. This newly created position will support the Product team with research and analysis of the automotive market and competitor product, review of marketing materials and maintenance of product data.
This role requires a full-time, on-site presence, five days a week, to foster collaboration, strengthen team connections, and ensure seamless support across the business.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Research and analysis of competitor products and the automotive market
- Preparing value analysis reports for Product team members and the Sales department
- Assisting in the preparation of business plans to support forward model program planning
- Reviewing product-related marketing, PR and training content
- Managing product data in internal and external systems
- Developing product-related presentation materials
About You:
You combine your passion for cars with solid attention to detail, analytical skills and highly developed communication skills. You build relationships to influence and engage key stakeholders towards our shared goals. Mostly importantly, you utilise your commercial maturity to grasp the challenges of this industry and guide others to success.
To be successful, you will have:
- Relevant tertiary degree qualifications in a business or similar discipline
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify the best course of action and engage key stakeholders as needed
- Highly developed Excel skills, including experience in extracting and manipulating data from SQL databases to support informed decisions
- Strong attention to detail to produce clear and concise product analyses, training materials and marketing collateral
- Strong interpersonal skills, with demonstrated experience in effective communication and nurturing professional relationships
