Product Manager
A Product Manager is sought to take ownership of an assigned product portfolio throughout the full product lifecycle, driving sustainable growth, profitability, and market competitiveness. The role partners closely with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and customers to deliver products that align with market needs and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of an assigned product portfolio, including growth, profitability, pricing strategy, modularisation, and end-of-life planning.
- Analyse market trends, customer needs, competitor activity, segmentation, and product performance to identify growth opportunities.
- Develop product strategies, roadmaps, business cases, positioning, unique value propositions, branding, and go-to-market plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support successful product launches and ongoing product development.
- Conduct market research, profitability analysis, demand forecasting, and performance monitoring to inform strategic decisions.
- Build strong relationships with customers, gather market and product feedback, and drive continuous product improvements.
- Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring products meet evolving market requirements and proactively addressing product-related challenges.
Requirements
- Proven Product Management experience with responsibility for products across the full lifecycle.
- Experience within the marine, automotive, industrial, or a related manufacturing sector is preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of outboard and/or inboard engines or comparable technical products.
- Demonstrated experience developing product strategies, business cases, and go-to-market plans.
- Experience working closely with Engineering and cross-functional teams to deliver new product releases.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, forecasting, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new systems.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Excellent stakeholder management, customer engagement, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within an international environment.
