Your JobWe are seeking a talented and motivated Product Development Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive engineering and a passion for innovation. This role involves designing, developing, and improving products to meet customers' needs and enhance the company's market position.
What you Will do in Your RoleCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and specifications.Conduct research and analysis to identify market trends and customer needs. Utilize CAD software to view and analyze detailed product designs and engineering drawingsUnderstand simulations and stress tests to evaluate product durability.Implement improvements based on testing results and feedback.Manage project timelines and ensure milestones are met.Communicate effectively with stakeholders throughout the development process.· Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.Minimum of 3 years experience in product development or similar role; other levels of experience may be consideredDemonstrated proficiency in CAD software such as NX, CATIA, Visualization, or similar.Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements
What Will Put You AheadProject Management skillsExperience with prototype development and testingMaster's degree in Engineering or a related fieldExperience with Exterior Decorative Automotive Body PartsExperience with Nissan development processes/systemsFamiliarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) tools.
