About the Role
We are seeking a Procurement Specialist with an engineering background to join our client’s supply chain team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic sourcing for complex technical components and systems.
- Utilize SAP Ariba for advanced sourcing, tendering (RFP/RFQ), and contract management.
- Interpret technical specifications and work closely with engineering teams.
- Conduct supplier negotiations and manage high-value contracts.
- Ensure procurement strategies align with engineering and project requirements.
Requirements
- Experience: 5–6 years, ideally with combined engineering and procurement exposure.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Aerospace).
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with SAP Ariba is mandatory.
- Industry Background: Manufacturing, Aerospace, Automotive, or Defense.
- Communication: Strong command of English, both written and verbal.
