PROCUREMENT STAFF / SUPERVISOR (LUXURY AUTOMOTIVE)
Position Overview
We are a rapidly growing luxury automotive company. We are currently seeking a dynamic, highly resourceful, and proactive Procurement Staff / Supervisor to join our team.
This role is ideal for an agile professional who thrives in a fast-paced, developing environment where systems and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are still being built. You will play a pivotal role in establishing our procurement framework from scratch, managing global supply chains (export-import), and building strong relationships with world-class local and international suppliers. �� Job Description (Key Responsibilities)
· Sourcing & Vendor Management: Identify, audit, and establish a robust network of reliable local and international suppliers for premium automotive components.
· End-to-End Export-Import Management: Oversee global logistics operations, including handling customs clearance documentation, navigating import/export regulations for automotive commodities, and coordinating with freight forwarders.
· Technical Review & Verification: Read, analyze, and interpret blueprint engineering/technical drawings to ensure component specifications match engineering requirements before issuing purchase orders.
· Supply Chain Setup & Multitasking: Since the company is in its growth phase, you will be responsible for multitasking—managing daily purchasing tasks while simultaneously organizing administrative workflows, price databases, and procurement SOPs from the ground up.
· Contract & Price Negotiation: Conduct high-level negotiations regarding pricing, quality commitments, and payment terms using professional business correspondence.
��️ Job Specification (Qualifications & Requirements)
1. Technical Competencies & Experience
· Education: Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Logistics/Supply Chain Management. An engineering background is highly preferred due to the technical nature of the components.
· Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, or Strategic Sourcing, preferably within the automotive manufacturing, premium bodybuilding (karoseri), or precision components industry.
· Technical Skill: Mandatory proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings (2D & 3D CAD blueprints).
· Export-Import: Deep understanding of Indonesian export-import regulations, customs protocols, HS Codes, and clearance procedures.
2. Language Proficiency
· English: Fluent (Written & Spoken). Excellent command of professional business English is required for official global correspondence and negotiations.
· Mandarin: Highly Preferred / Big Plus. Ability to converse and negotiate in Mandarin will be a significant advantage in managing relationships with our global supplier network.
