Role Description
This is a part-time remote contractor position for a Principal Consultant at AutoMobility Advisors. The Principal Consultant will play a key role in advising clients on automotive market opportunities, developing tailored business strategies, forging impactful partnerships, and acquiring new customers for clients. Day-to-day tasks will include conducting in-depth market research, analyzing industry trends, devising actionable plans, and collaborating with stakeholders to achieve client goals. The role requires expertise in automotive technology and mobility innovation and a proactive, results-driven approach. Automotive business development experience and a track record of results is a requirement for any candidate.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in market research, business strategy development, and industry trend analysis
- Experience in business development, partnership creation, and client relationship management
- Knowledge of automotive digital transformation, mobility innovation, and connected services
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and project management skills
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote, flexible environment and meet deadlines
- At least 8-10 years of experience in automotive, technology consulting, or a related industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Previous experience working with startups or investors in the automotive space is a plus
