Join our team as a PPF Installer, where you’ll play a vital role in enhancing vehicle aesthetics and protection through professional paint protection film (PPF) installation. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge automotive surface enhancement techniques, ensuring our customers’ vehicles look flawless and are well-protected. As a PPF Installer, you’ll bring your mechanical expertise, attention to detail, and passion for auto restoration to deliver top-tier results that exceed customer expectations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicle surfaces meticulously by cleaning, sanding, masking, and surface preparation to ensure optimal adhesion of PPF.
- Use hand tools, power tools, grinders, and airless paint spraying equipment to apply films precisely and efficiently.
- Execute surface masking and sanding techniques to achieve smooth, seamless finishes on various vehicle surfaces.
- Operate automotive buffing and detailing tools to enhance the appearance of installed films and surrounding areas.
- Conduct auto body repairs or refinishing as needed to ensure a flawless base for film application.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols including respiratory protection when handling paints, coatings, or buffing compounds.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of installations while maintaining high-quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proven dealership experience or background in auto body repair, auto painting, or auto restoration.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, grinders, and spray guns.
- Familiarity with automotive surface preparation techniques such as sanding, masking, and surface cleaning.
- Experience with automotive buffing, detailing, and auto glass installation is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of paints, coatings, airless paint spraying systems, and automotive surface finishing processes.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills coupled with auto estimating experience are advantageous.
