Corestaff is the official MSP resourcing partner for Porsche Cars North America for contractor positions operating and managing their nationwide contingent workforce program. The candidate selected for this role will be an employee of Corestaff with a placement at Porsche Cars North America in Atlanta, GA.

As a member of the Porsche Experience Center (PEC) fleet operations team, the PEC Fleet Technician will perform daily inspection and repairs of PEC Fleet vehicles. These vehicles will be used for Porsche Drivers’ Experiences in on-road and off-road track use. Technicians’ primary role is to ensure that vehicle safety is maintained while reducing vehicle down time. This includes performing maintenance, repairs and diagnoses of the PEC Fleet. To perform these tasks the technician must be competent with repair manuals, diagnostic equipment including testers and seeking support from fellow team members.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Inspection of fleet vehicles driven on track and determine necessary repairs
  • Perform repairs, primarily brakes and tires to Porsche standards
  • Perform maintenance; major & minor services to Porsche standards
  • Onboard new vehicles to the PEC Fleet
  • Perform retirement inspections and maintenance on vehicles within the PEC Fleet
  • Review work orders and reports to discuss work with supervisors.
  • Determine parts required and retrieve from inventory
  • Diagnose Fleet vehicles
  • Perform test drives, and final inspections of performed work
  • Coordinating with Management, team members and other departments
  • Support Maintenance program of Porsche Gallery display vehicles.
  • Maintain the organization and cleanliness requirements of the workshop.

Requirements

  • Clean driving record
  • Valid Driver’s License

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Automotive technical degree preferred
  • OEM Manufacturer training preferred
  • Porsche Bronze Master Technician Certification beneficial
  • PTAP graduate beneficial

Experience:

  • 2 years automotive technician, Porsche experience beneficial

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects
  • Fluency in English (oral/written)
  • Highly organized, target oriented mindset, works well without close supervision
  • Ability to set and meet challenging deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent ability mounting and balancing tires
  • Excellent ability in vehicle alignment with Hunter alignment machines
  • Proficient in computer skills
  • Experience with Dealer Management Systems is desired

Percentage of required travel:

  • <10%

Schedule/Shift:

  • Tuesday-Saturday standard
  • Sunday & Monday as needed
