Role Description The Porsche Automotive Technician role is a full-time, on-site position located at Porsche of Chattanooga in Chattanooga, TN. This role is responsible for performing diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and repairs on Porsche vehicles in accordance with manufacturer specifications and dealership standards. Daily tasks include conducting inspections, performing oil changes and fluid services, addressing mechanical and electrical concerns, and completing suspension and brake work. The technician documents all work performed, communicates findings and recommendations to service advisors, and adheres to safety and quality control procedures. Collaboration with other technicians and ongoing training on Porsche technologies are essential to delivering a high level of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess skills in Vehicle Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair, including routine inspections and scheduled service.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Oil Changes and basic fluid services for a range of Porsche models.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Automotive Repair, including diagnostics and corrective repairs on engine, transmission, and electrical systems.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Suspension work, including alignment, steering components, and ride control systems.
  • Relevant experience as an automotive technician, preferably with luxury or performance brands; Porsche or European-brand experience is highly beneficial.
  • Formal automotive training or certification (e.g., ASE certifications, technical school, manufacturer training) is preferred.
  • Ability to use modern diagnostic equipment, service software, and technical documentation effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail, commitment to safety, and ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented service environment.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
