Plant Manager – Food Production
We’re partnering with a growing food production organization to support a key leadership hire at their Berkeley, IL facility. This is a high-impact role overseeing full plant operations within a fresh/perishable food environment.
Compensation: $150K–$200K base + bonus
Location: Berkeley, IL (fully onsite)
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Lead day-to-day plant operations across production, sanitation, and maintenance
• Oversee and develop a union labor workforce, driving performance and accountability
• Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency standards are consistently met
• Partner with leadership on process improvements and continuous optimization
• Own plant-level KPIs, output, and overall operational performance
What We’re Looking For:
• Prior experience within fresh food / perishable food production
• Strong background managing union labor environments
• Proven leadership across plant operations, including sanitation and maintenance
• Hands-on operator who thrives in fast-paced, high-volume environments
