A successful, established manufacturer is expanding operations into the Phoenix market and is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead and help shape this growing facility.

What You'll Do
As Plant Manager, you'll oversee daily manufacturing operations and ensure production goals are met safely, efficiently, and with a strong focus on quality.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead day-to-day operations within a welding and fabrication environment
- Drive productivity, throughput, and operational efficiency
- Reduce scrap, rework, and downtime through continuous improvement initiatives
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement real-time solutions
- Build, coach, and develop supervisors, leads, and production employees
- Maintain a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all safety standards
- Partner closely with Engineering and Quality teams to resolve production issues
- Manage staffing, scheduling, labor utilization, and workforce planning
- Monitor key production metrics and drive accountability across the operation
What We're Looking For
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate and hold teams accountable
- Experience managing manufacturing, fabrication, or welding operations
- Solid understanding of MIG welding processes and production workflows
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing drawings
- Data-driven mindset with experience using KPIs to drive performance improvements
- Proven ability to build a positive, high-performance culture
Preferred Background
- 3–7+ years of manufacturing or fabrication experience
- 2–4+ years of leadership experience in a production environment
- Hands-on experience with welding operations
- Success leading hourly production teams and achieving operational goals

Work Environment
This is a highly visible, floor-focused leadership role. You'll spend significant time on the production floor working alongside your team in an active manufacturing environment that includes welding operations, heat, noise, and moving equipment. PPE is required, and safety is always the top priority.
