We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead and oversee all manufacturing operations within a fast-paced automotive environment. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, improving productivity and profitability, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience within automotive manufacturing/machining environments and a proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead development and execution of operational and strategic business plans
• Oversee daily manufacturing operations and ensure production goals are achieved
• Drive continuous improvement, Lean/Kaizen initiatives, and operational efficiency
• Foster and maintain a strong safety-first culture across the facility
• Manage staffing levels, production schedules, labor planning, and machine utilization
• Provide leadership for new product/process development and prototype manufacturing
• Partner cross-functionally to ensure manufacturability and operational readiness
• Monitor budgets, analyze financial performance, and implement profitability improvements
• Lead and develop managers, supervisors, and operations teams
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Manufacturing, or related field
• 10–15+ years of manufacturing/machining experience within the automotive industry
• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in automotive manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, quality systems, material handling, safety, and workforce management
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing / Kaizen methodologies
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and leadership skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
