Our client, a leading industrial printing manufacturing company are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead manufacturing operations at their facility based near Sanford, Florida.
This is a unique leadership opportunity where the successful candidate will work alongside a highly experienced Manufacturing Director during a 30–60 day transition period before taking full ownership of the plant.
About the Facility
- 150,000+ sq ft manufacturing site
- High-volume production environment
- Over 1 billion prints produced annually
- Flexographic and digital printing technologies
- 200+ employees with 13 direct reports across production, scheduling, warehouse, and pre-press teams
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a large multi-department manufacturing team
- Drive Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Improve accountability, operational discipline, and production performance
- Oversee scheduling, production, warehousing, and shipping operations
- Collaborate with engineering, technical, and leadership teams to support growth
Background and Experience
- 10+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing operations
- Background as a Plant Manager, Operations Manager, or Production Manager
- Strong data-driven decision making and process improvement mindset
- Lean manufacturing experience with proven results
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team development skills
- Engineering degree preferred
