Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Parts Specialist role based in WP, Kuala Lumpur. The Parts Specialist is responsible for managing the ordering, receiving, storage, and issuance of automotive parts to support workshop operations and retail customers. Day-to-day tasks include identifying correct parts using catalogs and systems, preparing quotations, processing parts orders, and coordinating with service advisors, technicians, and suppliers. The role involves maintaining accurate stock levels, monitoring slow-moving and fast-moving items, and ensuring proper binning, labeling, and housekeeping in the parts department. The Parts Specialist also supports front-line customer interactions by responding to inquiries, providing product information, and ensuring a positive and efficient parts experience. Accurate data entry, use of inventory and dealership systems, and adherence to company policies and safety standards are essential.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and a focus on Customer Satisfaction.
- Proficiency in Inventory Management and Inventory Control to maintain accurate stock levels and records.
- Effective Communication skills for working with customers, technicians, service advisors, and suppliers.
- Experience in automotive parts or a related technical field is preferred.
- Ability to use dealership management systems, inventory software, and basic office applications.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work on-site full time in WP, Kuala Lumpur, and collaborate within a diverse team.
- Relevant certification or vocational training in automotive, logistics, or a related field is an advantage.
