Parts Manager – D&R Boat World (Toms River, NJ)
D&R Boat World, New Jersey’s premier full-service boat dealership, is seeking an experienced Parts Manager to join our team in Toms River, NJ. We represent top brands including Robalo, Crownline, Steiger Craft, Navan, World Cat, SeaDoo, and Finseeker, and are authorized dealers for Yamaha, SeaDoo, Mercury, and MerCruiser engines.
As our Parts Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting our service department, retail customers, and technicians by maintaining an organized and efficient parts operation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of the parts department.
- Identify, source, and order parts for Yamaha, Mercury, and MerCruiser engines.
- Read and interpret engine schematics, diagrams, and parts catalogs to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain inventory levels, organize stock, and manage special orders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and customers.
- Support service technicians with timely parts fulfillment.
- Monitor and manage parts profitability, pricing, and reporting.
- Ensure the parts department meets dealership standards for efficiency and customer service.
Qualifications:
- Marine industry experience required — particularly with outboard and sterndrive engines.
- Strong working knowledge of Yamaha, Mercury, and MerCruiser parts systems.
- Ability to read and understand engine schematics and diagrams.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Experience with marine dealer management software preferred.
- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Lightspeed Evo Software preferred
