Parts Associate
Iron Nation Harley-Davidson is a full-service Harley-Davidson dealership looking for a knowledgeable and passionate individual to help grow our company through effective and customer-focused service in the Parts Department. This position is vital to the success of our dealership.
Job Description
- Proactively greet and engage customers in our store
- Sells products and/or services to repair the problem and meet the customer’s needs
- Assist in keeping parts department clean and orderly
- Coordinate with Parts Manager in merchandising displays
- Controls showroom inventory to ensure maximum sales and customer satisfaction
- Interface with Service Technicians and ensure their Parts and Accessories needs are being met
- Supply cost of parts information on repair orders
- Notify service personnel and customer when special parts or back-ordered parts are received
- Assist staff when needed
Requirements
- Positive attitude, full time availability, & unique personality
- The ideal candidate must have a strong desire to succeed.
- Prior experience working with customers and providing an exceptional experience
- Handle customer complaints reasonably, showing empathy and a positive attitude
- Point out any sales, specials, new merchandise and offer additional product that may compliment the customer purchase
- Become familiar and efficient with all phases of the computer system required for P&A management
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills as this position interacts regularly with all other departments within the organization
