  • As Geely Auto Australia enters a critical growth phase, building a robust, scalable, and commercially driven national parts and accessories function is essential to supporting dealer success, enhancing customer experience, and ensuring business continuity.
  • This role goes beyond traditional parts operations, taking full ownership of both parts and accessories performance, including commercial outcomes, customer experience, and dealer profitability.
  • The National Parts & Accessories Manager will lead the development of a high-performing, data-driven, and customer-centric operation, ensuring strong service delivery, operational excellence, and sustainable business growth.

Key responsibilities:

Strategy & Commercial Ownership

  • Develop and execute a national parts and accessories strategy, aligned with Geely Auto Australia’s overall business objectives.
  • Own and drive parts and accessories P&L performance, including revenue, margin, cost control, and working capital optimisation.
  • Define pricing strategies, commercial policies, and revenue growth initiatives across both parts and accessories.

Accessories & Growth

  • Lead the development and expansion of the accessories (genuine and lifestyle products) portfolio, aligned with customer demand, market trends, and brand positioning.
  • Possessing experience in developing high-quality attachments, being familiar with the relevant processes, and having the ability to design corresponding business models.
  • Drive accessory attachment rate across vehicle sales by integrating accessories into the full customer journey (pre-sale, point-of-sale, and aftersales).
  • Develop accessory campaigns, bundling strategies, and promotional programs to maximise revenue and dealer profitability.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Dealer Network teams to embed accessories into core commercial strategy.

Supply Chain & Operations

  • Lead end-to-end parts supply chain management to optimise stock levels, availability, and inventory accuracy, minimising shortages and excess inventory.
  • Oversee supplier management, master data accuracy, lead times, forecasting, procurement, and pricing.
  • Monitor and analyse inventory turnover, fill rates, and obsolete stock, and implement initiatives to improve efficiency.
  • Develop advanced demand planning and forecasting capabilities to support business growth and reduce stock risk.
  • Oversee performance and compliance of suppliers, 3PL warehousing, and logistics partners, ensuring SLA adherence and continuous improvement.
  • Drive cost-to-serve reduction initiatives and optimise warehousing and logistics costs.

Dealer Network & Performance

  • Manage dealer parts policies, training, and performance, ensuring consistency across the network for parts ordering, stocking, and accessory fitment ratio.
  • Drive continuous improvement through structured dealer performance reviews.
  • Implement dealer incentive programs and performance frameworks to drive parts retention, service absorption, and accessory penetration.
  • Collaborate with regional teams and dealers to identify opportunities to improve service quality and grow parts and accessories sales.

Process, Systems & Governance

  • Develop, implement, and maintain national parts and accessories processes, procedures, and reporting frameworks.
  • Build scalable operating models, systems integration, and governance structures to support long-term business growth.
  • Coordinate with HQ and stakeholders to improve system integration and operational efficiency.

Quality, Warranty & Risk Management

  • Oversee warranty returns, root-cause analysis for defective parts, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Establish robust quality monitoring, recall support, and risk mitigation processes aligned with regulatory and brand standards.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian Consumer Law and internal quality requirements.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Supervise and develop parts team members, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex dealer and customer issues.
  • Influence and align cross-functional stakeholders (Sales, Aftersales, Finance, Marketing, HQ) to deliver integrated business outcomes.

Job Requirements:

  • 5-7 years' experience in a parts leadership role within an automotive OEM, importer, or distributor environment.
  • Demonstrated experience across both operations and accessories/commercial programs, with a strong understanding of accessory business drivers and customer behaviour.
  • Solid understanding of wholesale and retail parts operations, pricing strategies, and dealer support frameworks.
  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end parts and accessories lifecycle, including forecasting, procurement, pricing, and performance optimisation.
  • Experience managing 3PL partners, including SLA monitoring, performance feedback, and escalation handling.
  • Proficiency in ERP and DMS systems, with strong analytical capability to interpret data and drive business improvements.
  • Strong commercial acumen with ownership mindset, able to balance revenue growth, cost control, and customer experience.
  • Experience driving dealer performance through structured programs, incentives, and commercial frameworks.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence both internal and external partners.
  • Experience in building or scaling parts operations in a new market or high-growth environment is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Australian Consumer Law and warranty-related parts processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
