Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role located in High Wycombe for a Tech Instructor at ComputerXplorers. The Tech Instructor will lead engaging and educational technology classes, introducing children aged 3 to 13 to basic coding, robotics, and STEM concepts. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, delivering sessions in schools or other venues, and fostering a fun and inclusive learning environment. The role will also involve transporting equipment and materials to different locations, therefore the candidate must have a reliable car.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Customer Service and Communication to interact effectively with students, parents, and educators.
- Experience in Inventory Control and Shipping & Receiving for handling, maintaining, and transporting class materials and equipment.
- Proficiency in Forklift Operation is a bonus but not required.
- Ability to engage with children and adapt teaching methods to suit different age groups and learning needs.
- Reliable transport (own car) is essential for traveling to class locations.
- Experience in technology education or a related field is preferred.
- Flexibility with part-time hours and willingness to work on-site at multiple venues in the High Wycombe area.
