We’re working with a growing industrial manufacturer looking to bring on an Operations / Manufacturing Manager to lead a large, 24/7 production team.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll own the operation from raw material through production to final shipment, while leading a team of ~60 through front-line supervisors.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead daily manufacturing operations across a 24/7 environment
- Manage and develop supervisors and production teams
- Oversee the full production flow: material → processing → shipping & logistics
- Drive safety, quality, and productivity on the floor
- Troubleshoot issues in real time and support off shift needs when required
- Identify and implement process improvements
What They’re Looking For
Leadership:
- 5+ years in manufacturing leadership (Operations, Production, or Plant Management)
- Experience leading large teams (50+ employees) through supervisors
- Background in multi-shift or 24/7 operations
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree
Technical Experience:
- Strong understanding of industrial manufacturing processes (plating, coating, machining, or similar)
- Experience managing production flow, scheduling, and throughput
- Exposure to shipping, logistics, and inventory movement
Safety:
- Strong safety mindset with experience in hazardous or regulated environments (chemicals, industrial processes, etc.)
- Familiarity with OSHA and safe manufacturing practices
