MUTE Garage is looking for an Operations Manager – Mobility Services to lead and scale our electric mobility operations in Brussels.
This is a highly operational management role combining logistics, workshop coordination, customer operations, fleet management, and team leadership. The role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills, technical understanding of vehicles or mobility operations, and the ability to manage fast-moving daily operations.
MUTE Garage operates a growing fleet of subscription-based electric mopeds across Brussels, providing customers with a full-service mobility solution including vehicles, maintenance, insurance, repairs, logistics support, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of MUTE Belgium
- Manage workshop planning and daily repair KPIs
- Coordinate vehicle logistics: customer deliveries, vehicle swaps, breakdown interventions, vehicle collections
- Supervise and support mechanics and logistics staff
- Manage fleet availability and operational efficiency
- Handle customer service escalations and operational issues
- Coordinate insurance claims and accident handling
- Manage vehicle registrations and deregistrations
- Follow up overdue customer payments and subscription renewals
- Coordinate recovery of vehicles from towing services or police impounds
- Support inventory management and workshop organisation
- Train and onboard new operational staff as the business grows
Profile
- Strong organisational and leadership skills
- Experience in operations, mobility, automotive, logistics, or fleet management
- Comfortable managing multiple operational topics simultaneously
- Technical understanding of vehicles or mobility systems is a strong plus
- Hands-on mentality with strong problem-solving abilities
- Able to work independently and take ownership
- Comfortable using digital tools and operational software
- English required
- French and/or Dutch are a plus
- Driving licence for mopeds/cars required
