K&M Global Ltd is a fast-growing automotive recycling and parts trading business specialising in commercial vehicles. Based in Saddleworth, we dismantle and process high volumes of ELVs and supply truck and van parts worldwide.
With annual turnover circa £6 million, and sister companies in Cyprus and South Africa, we operate a truly international business with strong export activity and an expanding global footprint.
The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Operations Manager to take ownership of our busy site, leading day-to-day operations while driving efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all site operations: vehicle intake, dismantling, parts processing, storage & dispatch
- Manage automotive parts identification, quality control, and inventory accuracy
- Lead import/export operations including documentation and compliance
- Implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies to improve efficiency and reduce waste
- Use data, reporting tools, and AI systems to drive smarter decision-making
- Ensure full Health & Safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance
- Maintain and improve quality management systems
- Lead, develop, and motivate a multi-functional team
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience in operations management (automotive, recycling, logistics or similar)
- Solid knowledge of automotive parts and dismantling processes
- Experience with import/export procedures
- Proven ability with data analysis, IT systems, and AI tools
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma (preferred)
- Good understanding of H&S, environmental and quality standards
- Excellent leadership, organisation, and problem-solving skills
- Full, clean UK driving licence (essential)
